Going to try to do better on this blog. At least some monthly updates! Here is what our kids have been up to in August Allie -Puts her dirty clothes in the hamper without being asked. When I put soap on her hand in the tub she soaps herself -Outgrowing everything! Doesn't fit in any of the shoes Anna wore ALL winter. We call her tank and the name fits. Loves her milk and loves sweets. Getting her to eat real food that not snacky is a struggle -Gets in trouble a lot. Does not understand that she cannot get what she wants when she wants it. When she's mad she bangs her head on the floor (or concrete or the bar in the kitchen). Hits Anna and pulls her hair. Her nickname is "trouble". I have a feeling she'll be spending lots of time in our time out corner -With big brother playing football Allie gets a lot of time at practice too. This is pretty much a nightmare because she never sits still AND loves to climb anything she can find or run out on the field with the boys. -I love her crazy personality. When she's not acting wild she loves hugs and snuggling. Her little personality is really coming out and she is going to give us a run for our money but it's going to be a FUN ride. Jacob - -Started football and loves it. Plays on the line at a whopping 47 lbs on a 75lb max team!! Started 1st grade and is enjoying it. Doing great with his reading and has started spelling tests (which he loves). -Still very much a rule follower. Was first in his class to get Good Citizen (again) and while all the other football players are goofing off on the sidelines my little man is standing still paying attention to the game. -Teachers love him and coaches love him, I'm so very proud of him Anna - Started 4K and so far so good. We've had a couple issues with her not wanting to go because she misses Mommy but once she's there she loves it. -She is also a rule follower at school. She does exactly what she's supposed to and is learning so much. She has a little more trouble listening at home :) -Had her first sleepover this month with her best friend Molly (at Molly's house). These party animals stayed up until midnight!!! She loved every second of it. -Anna has lots of friends (some who fight over her) and loves to stay busy. -She's still super petite (6 lb difference between Anna and Allie) but begs ALL day for snacks (mainly candy). -She is my only child that will sleep in. -She loves to look pretty and to pick out her clothes. -She also loves playing with her babies and taking care of them
